At a reception held at Government House Mr. Luis Bahamonde Salazar and his son, Benjamin, became British Citizens.  Luis is a Chief Technician working for KTV/KMZ Electronics and Benjamin was born here in November last year.

H. E. the Governor Mr. Howard Pearce welcomed a party of ten guests and congratulated Luis and Benjamin for becoming British Citizens.  Luis then took the oath for himself and Benjamin.  He then thanked H. E. the Governor Mr. Pearce for inviting him to a reception and for the guests, who had played a part in helping with the citizenship effort.

The reception ended with champers and nibs.
