Ascension : Goodbye Mr Higgins
Submitted by The Islander (Juanita Brock) 17.11.2005 (Article Archived on 15.12.2005)

All the staff and children at Two Boats School would like to thank Head teacher Mr. Higgins for all his hard work over the last four years.

All the staff and children at Two Boats School would like to thank Head teacher Mr. Higgins for all his hard work over the last four years.

Through this time Mr. Higgins has moved the school forward in numerous ways including further education opportunities, post 16 Education at Chichester College and the introduction of the School Governors Committee.

Mr. Higgins has also made significant contributions to life on the island including editing the Islander, volunteering in the Resource Centre, trips with the explorers and umpiring cricket matches to name but a few.

In his spare time Mr. Higgins has also been a valued member of the school’s skittle team at the Two Boats Club.

We all wish Mr. Higgins a long and happy retirement.
