SPUC ANNOUNCE PATIENTS FIRST NETWORK
By J. Brock (FINN)
The Society for the Protection of the Unborn Child (SPUC) is announcing the Patients First Network (PFN), a group that helps a person to let Doctors, Nurses, and other healthcare workers know that he/she expects to be treated in hospital. PFN fights against euthanasia.
People joining the network are given a card and medallion, which alert medical staff, along with your family and carers that you wish to receive appropriate medical treatment and care and nothing should be done deliberately to end your life, nor should your health care team withdraw treatment with the deliberate intention of causing your death.
Leaflets explaining what the Patients First Network is are available from Fr. Peter Norris at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, or you can call him on 21204.
