On Sunday 8th of May, a Fishing competition was held in aid of St. Mary’s church and the Ascension Day Fair.

After all the catches were brought ashore, a fish auction took place prior to a fish fry which was held at the Saints Club.

On behalf of St Mary’s Church, I would like to thank all who participated in the ADF fishing competition and fish fry.  The anglers brought in an impressive amount of fish for the auction and fish fry.  A special thanks goes out to the cooks and helpers at the fish fry, they made a great meal for all to enjoy.  Thanks to the Saints Club for hosting the fish fry.

Winners:

Largest fish: Marty Bates

Most fish: Lady Shy, Clayton & Benjamin

Largest Grouper: Tommy Giangreco

Most Grouper: Spencer Crumrine
