DEVELOPMENT AID PLANNING MISSION
The Development Aid Planning Mission (DAPM) will run from 12 - 20 February 2013. The team, from the Department for International Development (DFID), comprises: Suzanne Adcock (St Helena Programme Manager), Mary Thompson (Social Development Adviser) and Doug Winslow (Economic Adviser). They will be supported on Island by Eddie Palmer (DFID Representative on St Helena). The DAPM visit coincides with the visit of Dr Nicolet Hutter (DFID Health Adviser) who is already on Island and David Finan, (DFID’s Deputy Project Manager for the Airport), who is making his first visit to the Island.
This annual visit will build on the three year planning cycle agreed at the DAPM in February 2012. Discussions are likely to focus on SHG’s strategic planning and budgeting process and proposed outputs and outcomes for the financial year commencing 2013/2014, following which the budget settlement will be finalised.
