Mr Colin Owen yesterday took the Oaths of Office as the new Financial Secretary for St Helena in the Governor’s Office at the Castle in Jamestown.

Mr Colin Owen yesterday took the Oaths of Office as the new Financial Secretary for St Helena in the Governor’s Office at the Castle in Jamestown. He is pictured here with Governor Capes.


 


Previously the Chief Auditor, Colin succeeds Paul Blessington and Acting Financial Secretary, Dax Richards.


Colin said:


 


“It is a great honour to take the Oaths and officially take my role on Executive Council; I look forward to the challenges, debates and work ahead over the coming years.”


 


Colin took up his new role as Financial Secretary on Tuesday 28 August 2012 for a three year term.
