The Education and Employment Directorate is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Vanessa Tissington as the Raising Attainment Partner for Secondary Education.

SECONDARY RAISING ATTAINMENT ADVISER ARRIVES NEXT WEEK


 


 


The Education and Employment Directorate is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Vanessa Tissington as the Raising Attainment Partner for Secondary Education.


 


Vanessa, previously Assistant Headteacher of a large Secondary School in Derby, UK, will be joining the Raising Attainment Partner for Primary Education, Michael Theobalds to support the programme of school improvement currently taking place on the Island.


 


Colin Moore, Director of Education and Employment said:


“We are all looking forward to welcoming Vanessa when she arrives on the RMS from Cape Town on Wednesday, 12 September 2012. I am sure that she will provide the additional support that we need for our Secondary School improvement programme.”


On her appointment Vanessa said:


 


“I am very pleased to be joining the Education and Employment Directorate at a time when there is so much change and opportunity.


 


“I am looking forward to working with everyone at Prince Andrew School and helping to raise standards.”
