Councillors Rodney Buckley and John Cranfield are to act as temporary members of Executive Council following the departure of Councillors Anthony Green and Derek Thomas today.
TEMPORARY MEMBERS OF EXECUTIVE COUNCIL APPOINTED
Councillors Rodney Buckley and John Cranfield are to act as temporary members of Executive Council following the departure of Councillors Anthony Green and Derek Thomas today.
Councillor Buckley is to sit on ExCo until the return of Councillor Green on 11 October from attendance at the CPC conference in Sri Lanka and the EU OCT forum in Greenland. Councillor Cranfield will replace Councillor Thomas temporarily until he returns to the Island on 12 September following a short period of overseas leave.
The election of a permanent member of Executive Council to replace Councillor Tara Thomas, who resigns from Legislative Council today, will be undertaken at the formal Legislative Council meeting on 13 September 2012.
