According to the Royal Falkland Islands Police a motorcycle/car collision took place at the corner of Philomel Hill and Fitzroy Road at lunchtime on Wednesday, 12 October 2011.
MOTORCYCLE/CAR COLLISION SENDS ONE TO HOSPITAL

According to the Royal Falkland Islands Police a motorcycle/car collision took place at the corner of Philomel Hill and Fitzroy Road at lunchtime on Wednesday, 12 October 2011. The driver of the Motorcycle was transported to the KEMH but is not thought to have life-threatening injuries.
Emergency Services Attending were the Fire & Rescue Service, the Royal Falkland Islands Police and Medical Staff from the KEMH in an ambulance.
The collision is under investigation and a Police Spokesman has appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch with the Royal Falkland Islands Police on Phone 28100.
