SHARON AND JOHN HALFORD TO ATTEND ROYAL WEDDING

By J. Brock (FINN)

It has been announced that the Hon Mrs Sharon Halford MLA and her husband, John, will be attending the Royal Wedding on 29 April 2011.

“It really is a great honour to be going,” she told the media at Gilbert House on Wednesday.

Mrs Halford, who will be representing the Falklands, said that all of the UK Overseas Territories will be represented at the ceremony at Westminster Abby.

After the ceremony she and John will go to a reception at Lancaster House where it is not expected that the Royal Couple will be in attendance.

While in London the Halfords will stay at the Flat at FIGO’s offices on Broadway.  At the moment it is not clear what tMr and Mrs Halford will be wearing but there will be plenty of opportunity to find the right clothes when they reach London.
