Several invited guests helped to celebrate the 90th birthday of Nanny Flo Fullerton during a tea party at Government House on Saturday, 31 January 2009.  Approximately 30 of Nanny’s friends attended the event where H. E. the Governor read out the names of eleven Governors she served during her nearly 40 years at Government House.  The most memorable event that Governor Huckle pointed out was just prior to the occupation when Nanny left Government House with a picture of H. M. the Queen under one arm and a bottle of gin under the other.

During the party Nanny was toasted with champagne and given cards and presents from long-time friends and colleagues.

Nanny didn’t stop at home after the party as she attended a wedding on Saturday evening.
