Falklands : M/V Sigma in act of mercy
Submitted by Falkland Islands News Network (Nathan Prince) 27.09.2002 (Article Archived on 25.10.2002)

The ashes of Anita Flanagan have been scattered in the South Atlantic Ocean over the spot where, 20 years earlier, her husband went down with the ATLANTIC CONVEYOR.

M/V Sigma in act of mercyThe war widow, who never got over her husband’s death, had asked that her ashes be scattered in the South West Atlantic but it took the pleas of the Daily Telegraph, FINN, FIBS and various other media outlets to get the ball rolling.
