Sergeant Dave Roberts of the Royal Falkland Islands Police updates us on the latest police activity.


At 1115hrs on Wednesday, 10 January 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report that someone had caused damage to the decorative lights at the Public Jetty.  Someone had removed several bulbs and smashed them.  The incident is under investigation and anyone with information on this incident can call Sergeant Roberts on 27222.


At 1315hrs on Thursday, 11 January 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report from the Fire and Rescue Service that they had been tasked to a camp fire near Cap Dolphin.


At 1126hrs on Friday, 12 January 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a road traffic accident involving two vehicles.  One vehicle was trying to negotiate a corner and collided with a second.  Both parties are dealing with the incident through insurance.


At 2107hrs on Friday, 12 January 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a person urinating outside Deanos Bar.  Police attended and the person was spoken to about his behaviour.  A taxi was called and Officers assisted the person into the vehicle.


At an undisclosed time on Saturday, 13 January 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a medivac at the Football Pitch.


At 1716hrs on Saturday, 13 January 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of damage to the rear of the Beauchene Complex.  The incident is still under investigation and anyone with information can call Sergeant Roberts on 27222.


At 0823hrs on Monday, 15 January 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received request for assistance on Davis Street when a person had fallen over and couldn’t move his legs.
