Sergeant Dave Roberts of the Royal Falkland Islands Police updates us on the latest police activity.


 


At 2323hrs on Saturday, 08 April 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a disturbance in the Globe Tavern.  Officers attended and one person was found to have injuries but did not know how he got them.  Bystanders were questioned and it is thought the person fell over.


 


At 0117hrs on Sunday, 09 April 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a request for Police and an ambulance at the Trough where one person needed medical assistance following a fit and another person had been assaulted.  A person is helping Police with their enquiries.


 


At 0223hrs on Sunday, 09 April 2006 the royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a single vehicle road traffic accident on the Stanley to Darwin Road on the Stanley side of Fitzroy Ridge.  One person is assisting Police with their inquiries.


 


At 0257hrs on Sunday, 09 April 2006 the Royal Falkland Island Police received a report of a pedestrian being hit by a motor vehicle on the Bypass Road.  Police attended and discovered the person had been hit with the wing mirror of the vehicle and was uninjured.  No further action was taken.


 


At 1651hrs on Sunday, 09 April 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a person skinny dipping off the Public Jetty.  Officers attended and found the person had dressed and left the scene.


 


At 1811 on Sunday, 09 April 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a damaged vehicle on Moody Street.  If anyone has any info please call the Royal Falkland Islands Police on 27222.


 


At 0849hrs on Monday, 10 April 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of vehicle damage on Ross Road West.  If anyone has information about this incident, please give the Royal Falkland Islands Police a call on 27222.


 


At 1112 on Monday, 10 April 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report from EOD that it was transporting a C-3 Anti Vehicle Mine from Wireless Ridge to the disposal area at Yorke Bay.


 


At 1600hrs on Monday, 10 April 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a push bike being stolen from outside the Brasserie.  If anyone has information about this theft they can call the Royal Falkland Islands Police on 27222.


 


At 2000hrs on Monday, 10 April 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of youths tampering with vehicles on John Street.  Police Officers attended the scene and several youths were spoken to and given a warning.


 


At 1219hrs on Tuesday, 11 April 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of damage to a vehicle on John Street.  If anyone has any info about this they can call the Royal Falkland Islands Police on 27222.
