Falklands : Detective Team to Return to the Falklands

Members of the Metropolitan Police will be returning to the Falklands to conclude detailed aspects of their investigations into accusations against against two members of the Royal Falkland Islands Police.

DETECTIVE TEAM TO RETURN TO THE FALKLANDS

According to a press release from Government House a detective team that consists of Detective Chief Superintendent Carl Bussey and two colleagues from the Metropolitan Police  will be returning to the Falklands on Saturday, 21 January 2006.


 


It is expected that the team will be concluding some detailed aspects of their investigations into allegations against members of the Royal Falkland Islands Police.


 


When the investigations are complete a decision will be made by the Attorney General whether or not to proceed with a prosecution.
