The Public Solicitor's Office is pleased to announce the arrival of Miss Faryma Bahrami, Assistant Public Solicitor. Faryma will be on Island for a year, whilst Aldhelm Garner is in the UK studying for his Legal Practice Course.
ASSISTANT PUBLIC SOLICITOR ON ISLAND
The Public Solicitor's Office is pleased to announce the arrival of Miss Faryma Bahrami, Assistant Public Solicitor. Faryma will be on Island for a year, whilst Aldhelm Garner is in the UK studying for his Legal Practice Course.
Faryma qualified as a Solicitor in January 2012 after completing her legal traineeship in Glasgow. Faryma obtained an LLB and PG Dip in Legal Practice from the University of Dundee in 2008 and 2009 respectively and is currently an LLM (Master of Laws) Research Candidate at the University of Glasgow. Faryma is delighted to join the Public Solicitor’s Office and is committed to providing independent legal advice to the Island.
She commented: “St Helena is an extraordinarily beautiful place and I have found the Saints to be lovely people. I am looking forward to assisting The Public Solicitor’s Office over the next 12 months.”
Debbie Wahle, Public Solicitor, said: ‘I am very pleased to welcome Faryma to the Office of the Public Solicitor. I have no doubt that she will be extremely busy and will help the office provide excellent advice and assistance to our community.’
